Safe Transport of Hazardous Cargo

Dangerous cargoes and goods moving daily through various means of transportation: land, sea or air. Among them:
 

•      Flammable substances (fuel, solvents)
•      Oxidizing substances
•      Explosive substances
•      Toxic substances
•      Flammable Gases under pressure
•      Hazardous Waste
•      Corrosive substances
•      Radioactive substances
   

The safety of such shipmentsbegins from loading and ends in arrival to the final destination. The legislation does not require the undertaker to appoint a Consultant Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods (S.A.M.E.E.), which is responsible for the prevention of risks in handling hazardous substances and work loading and unloading (JMD 64834/5491, GG 1350 -7/11/2000).
