Emergency Preparedness

The preparation for any potential emergency situation (e.g., earthquake, fire) is crucial for a business, especially in areas with a significant number of employees. The development and posting of an Emergency Escape and Rescue Plan from the workplace is an employer's obligation (Law 1568/1985, paragraph 1). The preparation includes the planning as well as the readiness of the company, which should be regularly tested through drills and updated when necessary.
