Occupational Safety & Health in Technical Projects

Safety Coordinator

The Occupational Safety & Health Coordinator is mandated by Presidential Decree 305/1996. They are responsible for coordinating the activities of the Project to ensure the monitoring of Safety and Health during all phases. The benefits for the Project Contractor are manifold:

  • Prevention of Accidents and the creation of a safe working environment
  • Avoidance of fines and work stoppages
  • Focus on construction to ensure timely and within-budget completion of the Project.

The Coordinator prepares the Safety and Health Plan (SHP) and File (SHF) for the project, in collaboration with the designers and the Safety Officer.

  • Studies the general principles of risk prevention at work in all technical and organizational aspects of the design to eliminate hazards for workers. 
  • Συντονίζει τους εργολάβους, υπεργολάβους και αυτοαπασχολούμενους και τους ενημερώνει για τις υποχρεώσεις τους.

Η παρουσία του Συντονιστή Ασφαλείας στο έργο, εξαρτάται από τον αριθμό των εργολάβων και την επικινδυνότητα των εργασιών.
